  13. This is actually a problem with your pop3 server.  Eudora depends on the
  14. pop3 server to mark previously retrieved messages as "Read" the first time
  15. they are requested from the server.  Upon subsequent requests to the
  16. server, Eudora checks the headers of messages, and skips them if they have
  17. been marked read.  If the pop3 server has not marked them as read, then
  18. Eudora assumes that they are new messages, and requests them again.
