- This is actually a problem with your pop3 server. Eudora depends on the
- pop3 server to mark previously retrieved messages as "Read" the first time
- they are requested from the server. Upon subsequent requests to the
- server, Eudora checks the headers of messages, and skips them if they have
- been marked read. If the pop3 server has not marked them as read, then
- Eudora assumes that they are new messages, and requests them again.
